Notice Regarding Blockchain Use: SideShift.ai is a direct-to-wallet service. When you submit wallet addresses, transaction details, or otherwise interact with blockchain networks through the Service, certain information may be broadcast to public blockchains and remain publicly visible due to the nature of blockchain technology.
Personal information we collect

Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, maintain session state, improve performance, and understand how the Service is used. These technologies may store identifiers and settings on your device.
For example, we use PostHog analytics tools to measure usage of the Service, understand page and feature engagement, and improve product performance.
SideShift.ai Chrome Extension
The SideShift.ai Chrome extension (the "Extension") is also subject to this Privacy Policy. The following additional details apply specifically to the Extension:
Information the Extension may access
- When you use the Extension on a webpage, it may read limited page content needed to identify cryptocurrency names, ticker symbols, wallet addresses, and similar transaction-related information so the Extension can help prepare a swap.
- The Extension may also access information you enter directly into the Extension interface, such as selected assets and wallet addresses.
Information the Extension may transmit
- If you initiate or prepare a swap through the Extension, the Extension may send selected asset pairs, wallet addresses, and related order details to SideShift.ai systems and APIs to create, quote, process, support, or secure your transaction.
- The Extension may also send limited technical and diagnostic information necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Extension.
Local storage and permissions
- The Extension may store preferences and other settings locally in your browser, such as interface or usability preferences.
- The Extension may request browser permissions needed for its functionality, including permissions related to the active tab, page content, or browser storage.
- We do not use the Extension to collect credentials, unrelated browsing history, or page content except as needed to provide the Extension features you invoke.
